I HAVE PURCHASED ITEMS ONLINE AND HAVE USED IT FOR FACEBOOK.THE INTERNET HAS A BIG EFFECT ON PEOPLE. WE USE IT ALMOST EVERYDAY. IT GETS ADDICTING. MY SISTER ALWAYS BUYS MAKEUP OR JUST BROWSES ONLINE. SHE SAYS IS IT JUST THERE AND ITS EASY TO JUST UY STUFF.

TELEVISION

IN THIS CHAPTER IT EXPLAINED HOW TELEVISION SHOWS WERE ABOUT HAVING THE "PREFECT FAMILY". GROWING PAINS WAS A POPULAR TELEVISION SHOW I THE 90s WHICH WAS A TYPICAL FAMILY THAT OVERCOME ISSUES AND PROBLEMS IN THEIR LIVES.

MOVIES OR RECORDINGS

MY FAVORITE MOVIE SO FAR IS THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF THE EARTH ENDING AND THE CLIMATE REALLY INTERESTS ME AND IS VERY FACINATING. I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT THE CLIMATE AND HOW IT CHANGES CONSTANTLY. ALSO WHO WOULD'T WANT TO HEAR THE THEORIES ON HOW THE WORLD WILL END. AT FIRST I SEEN IT IN THE THEATERS, BUT THE I GOT IT ON RED BOX. AS SOON AS IT CAME OUT ON DVD I BOUGHT IT.

BOOKS

 IM NOT REALLY A READER, BUT THE THREE BOOKS THAT HAVE HAD SOME WHAT OF AN EFFECT ON MY LIFE ARE: THE BIBLE, THE DICTIONARY, AND CONFESSIONS OF A VIDEO VIXEN. THE BIBLE HAS AN EFECT ON ALMOST EVERYONE. IT TELLS IT ALL ABOUT HOW WE CAME TO BE AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN. IT REALLY MADE ME THINK ABOUT MY LIFE AND MADE ME VALUE IT AS WELL. THE DICTIONARY IS JUST THERE TO HELP ME WHEN I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SPELL CERTAIN WORDS. IT IS VERY USEFUL. CONFESSIONS OF VIDEO VIXEN IS BASICALLY A TELL ALL OF KARRINE STEPHANS LIFE OF BEING A MUSIC VIDEO MODEL. SHE STATED ALL THE ARTISTS SHE HAD RELATIONS WITH, IN DETAIL, BUT SHE STATED HOW SHE GREW FROM THAT. THIS BOOK CAUGHT MY ATTENTION BECAUSE IT WAS AN INTERESTING BOOK.

MEDIA IMPACT

THE MEDIA NOW A DAYS IS GETTING BLAMED FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING. FROM CELEBRITY SCANDALS TO SAYING FALSE STATEMENTS, TO MAKIG YOUNG TEENS THINK THERE IS SUCH THNG OF A "PERFECT BODY". FOR EXAMPLE, THE MEDIA KEEPS PUTTING SKINNY RICH CELEBRITIES AND SAYING THERE BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE OF THERE LOOKS. ANY TEENAGE GIRLS ARE SELF CONSCIENCE OF THERE BODIES BASED ON WHAT THEY SEE. PARENTS START BLAMING THE MEDIA FOR THESE PROBLEMS WITH BODY IMAGES.

MEDIA IMPACT

A lot of people blame the media for pretty much everything now a days. For example, television shows are getting more graphic and less censored things. In my opinion, I believe it is not the media's fault entirely, but mainly the fault in someones surrounding ( life). Parent's and friends are one reason in why people do what they do. I had typed a the Internet for examples oh how the media was to be blamed for, and I came upon something interesting called Shifting the Blame Society's Solution. This person wrote about how parent's are the ones to blame because there the ones that teach their kids right from wrong. The one thing that caught my attention was when the writer said that in reality there are consequences, but in the media, their isn't any as much. For example, in the movie " Get Rich or Die Tryin'", 50 Cent got away with A LOT. Sure he got shot and went to jail, but he killed many people and still lived life without going to jail. Humans know right from wrong and I believe, to a certain age, that everyone knows what to do and what is wrong. Media shouldn't be the only ones to blame.

MEDIA AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Media has influenced my life in many ways and has giving me an open mind on certain situations and topics. I'm not much of a book reader because now a days they become movies. Books such as The Twilight Saga and Harry Potter are examples of books becoming movies. In my opinion, I never really realized how crazy fans could get and made me not want to follow what everyone else watches. I've read lots of magazines. mainly in my teen years, and that is where I find the "down low" about EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. People, Elle, Us Weekly, and Ok magazines are the top  magazines of gossip and I love reading them. The media has a certain way to switch up stories and make up things that the celebrities say, do, or are seen with. Movies are one thing in my life, besides music, that I love. I have plenty of VHS videos and DVD's such as Boyz in the Hood, Titanic, and Knocked up. IPods are the " it " electronics in this generation and I love it. Without an ipod, I don't know how I would function on a daily basis. My future career is to become a Radio personality or a Vj. I love talking and just the whole vibe from what I listen to on the radio makes me want to pursue my career even more. 106 KMEL and Wild 94.9 are my number one radio stations, I like the spanish ones as well. The t.v is like what I watch on a daily basis. Its like a magazine or a radio station, they have a lot to say. It's basically the media in one plus more. It's part of me. The internet is overall the best thing ever invented for school and other perpuses. We use the internet for school, to get information, the look up anything you desire to know or see. The media has its good and its bad, but no matter what we humans are adjusted to it and is part of our lives.
